The Julia Lynn is a 6 passenger 30' 1976 Chris Craft designed by Frank Hunt. She is powered by twin Yanmar diesels, with a cruising speed of 22 knots. With a heated cabin, private head and ample seating this makes for a comfortable day on the water.
Captain Eric developed his love of fishing at a young age commercial crabbing and fishing on the Chesapeake Bay with his grandfather. He attended the University of North Carolina and earned a degree in Marine Biology. After graduating, he traveled to Alaska to spend one summer running a charter boat. That was in 2008. Since then he has worked for several local companies and in 2015 started Maverick Charters where he shares his love of fishing with everyone on board. Capt. Eric brings enthusiasm and immense knowledge of the underwater world to every trip.
Captain Cory Loos has been spending his summers in Homer, Alaska since 2009. As a young, avid outdoorsman, Cory enjoys every day he can fishing and hunting. Holding a 100 ton master USCG license that he obtained mostly from fishing in Cook Inlet, Cory has learned lots of tricks of the trade to be successful in Alaska's waters. He prides himself on customers catching the hard fighting king salmon but also enjoys the thrill of bottom fishing for tasty halibut, rockfish and lingcod. In his time off from sportfishing, Cory fishes a commercial salmon season in Alaska.
