The Julia Lynn is a 6 passenger 30' 1976 Chris Craft designed by Frank Hunt.  She is powered by twin Yanmar diesels, with a cruising speed of 22 knots.  With a heated cabin, private head and ample seating this makes for a comfortable day on the water.

Captain Eric developed his love of fishing at a young age commercial crabbing and fishing on the Chesapeake Bay with his grandfather.  He attended the University of North Carolina and earned a bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology.  After graduating, he traveled to Alaska to spend one summer running a charter boat. That was in 2008.  Since then he has worked for several local companies and in 2015 started Maverick Charters where he shares his love of fishing with everyone on board.  Capt. Eric brings enthusiasm and immense knowledge of the underwater world to every trip.

The Pacific Sun has the same Yanmars as the Julia Lynn and has a cruising speed of 22 knots. Equipped with a heated cabin, private head, and ample seating with a table your day on the water is sure to be comfortable. This will be Capt. Doug’s fourth summer working the waters of Kachemak Bay. Capt. Doug brings his great sense of humor aboard every trip.
